Daddy's Knife

I have a knife that looks a lot like this, that a friend gave to me. I cant wait to see what this could look like with a nice restore done.

As was said, it's a pilot's knife. That one looks like a 60s era Camillus. I have one exactly like it.

I like it. I bet it looked just like that on it's last day of service.

Nicely done!

I wish I had my daddy's knife. He's 86 now. When he came home from WWII he gave it to the aunt who had raised him and she used it for a butcher knife until it was sharpened to death.

So sad to hear about the loss of a fine man. I'm glad you had the opportunity (and took the opportunity) to pay him a tribute. Good on ya!

Sir I just wanted to tell you what an honorable thing you have done. Recently losing my own father I know how much a item that is ordinary to most, is cherished by some. Thank you. And to the fallen officer, rest in peace brother,

Tom, tasteful and respectful job, well done. I know the daughter will love it and her father is proud. A fitting tribute to a man who gave all in the service of his Nation and community.

Bravo Zulu

On something like this you want to keep it simple - I was able to get Kaki (sp?) material for the back ground - tom
