Well, I haven't been there but my Dad's a WWII vet and those are getting rarer every day. There is probably nothing to say that will make you feel any better, but we all have to go through this.

Spiral, my own father is 85, diabetic, and getting frail and I'm afraid I will be going through the pain and anguish of loosing him sometime in the near future. I'm sorry for your great loss and hope you are not alone during this time. :(
