That is a QUILLION Dagger Mace. I want to see it finished. I wish I had time to come up and visit, you are only 4 hours from me when you are at my school.
Bill called me and I couldn't make it - but I sure wanted to.
That looks incredible, Mace. Hope you can hang onto that until Blade so we can all see it.
I'll be going to the one Cashen is going to do at the end of this month in Ohio.
I've got one on order and don't even know how to do it!
Pure sweetness, Mace.
Mace-
The dagger looks great! Where do you find out about such classes? I did a Google and can up with squat. I am not ready yet but maybe someday soon.
Thanks
Allen
Hi everyone,
Here are some more pics. I have more but need to sort them out.
The class was at the Haywood college in North Carolina where the ABS is now teaching classes. What a nice place they have!
Kevin Cashen was our instructor. This was my first class with Kevin and he has been a great teacher.
Bill Wiggens has been a great host here too opening his shop up for us to use and hang out in at the end of the day. I really feel like I've crammed two weeks of knifemaking info into one week!
Any way....on to some pics.

Heres Bill working on one of the six Bader grinders.
Butch with Ron and Kevin in the background.
Butchs dagger is the one with the red layout...the clean one is Kevins:thumbup:
