Dagger in O1 with Ebony Scales

Sold! Thanks to the nearly one-thousand BladeForum members that viewed my work. I have a couple of hand-forged pieces on the way.

This is a full tang design, made from O1 tool steel that is heat treated to around 62 Rockwell hardness. All four bevels are flat ground to 36-degrees inclusive, then sharpened to 40-degrees inclusive. I ground this from flat stock, then double quenched in my blacksmith forge before drawing out the temper. The scales are Ebony, with mosaic pins up top, and a brass plated thru hole down at the pommel end. All the parts were properly etched and degreased prior to glue up with West Systems epoxy. I cut the brass blade guard on my CNC machine. It is buffed to a near mirror finish. Still a few scratches here and there, particularly at the joint of the blade guard and the sides of the scales. 5-1/2" blade, 10" overall length. The grip feels comfortable the hand, and the ebony is buffed out and has a nice silky texture.

Available for purchase from my etsy site, or shoot me an email to arrange paypal.

Thanks for checking it out!
