I forged this dagger quite a while ago, and the unfinished blank sat around my shop for quite some time before I decided to finish it up. The blade is W2, clay coated for a nice hamon that runs up the center of the blade. It is very sharp all over and I had to be careful when finishing not to open myself up. This is my first take down version. It pales in comparison to some of the takedowns I have seen on this forum, but I am pretty proud of it nonetheless. The guard and nut on the end are damascus, but it is difficult to see the pattern in them. They were drops from a damascus billet. They work well for the guard.

The handle is ironwood. It is shaped and polished to fit the hand well.

The sheath is 8-9oz leather from Wickett and Craig. It is hand tooled and holds the knife well.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 3/4" tip to guard
OAL - 10 5/8"
Price - $300 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

Gunmetal, Yes, I made the sheath. I do make customs (within a specific style), but during the school year (I teach) it is difficult to nail down a delivery time as time in the shop is limited.

In my opinion, this is the best knife I've seen you make.

The grinds are super clean, I love the construction method you used and the form of the hamon for this blade shape is perfect.

Amazing piece all around.
