I googled "grenadill" and found the English equivalent is African blackwood.

steel for the guard is stained D2,
the wood is grenadill, sort of african blackwood.

you´re right, the tip looks a bit rounded-
so I called my customer and asked him,
he assured me of a sharp tip.
I don´t know, why it looks so messy ground.
