OK, the guy has been waiting 4 years for this , I'm done plugging away at it..
O1 steel with a finger patina , (rubbed with finger oil only for weeks )
Guard and pommel is heat colored
handle is select Water buffalo horn
3 rubies one in the blade and one in each end of the guard
the paneled sheath has Black rattle snake skin and a tooled window
sorry for the bad pictures.. I hope he's happy with it..

Showoff...and every right to be. Fantastic work! 4 years...wow. I'm an instant gratification guy...that would have killed me. Very beautiful, Dan!!!!
 
Very nice Dan! Great package. Your sheaths always make my day. They are my weakest point.

thanks Bruce , the sheath is one of those things where I just kept going on it,, for the money I should have stopped though,, the little extra helped make up for the time laps some.. :o :)

yahup he still wants it, this is one of those for a past customer that insisted on paying for it up front..
I'll offer him just what he paid for it, back then, if he changes his mind :D

Oh man, that is sweet Dan :thumbup: :thumbup: If you don't mind me asking what size wheel did you use to do the double edge grind ?? ;) Sheath is awesome!!

The steel started out as 1/4" thick and I ground the hollows on a 2 1/2" wheel..
that was fun :D

man when i get my dagger done im sending off to get coop to do it

not that the first pictures were not great but coop sure makes things sparkle
