Good Afternoon,

I needed to figure out and test a few things with my carving for some customs I am working on. I have also been wanting to revisit this design for a while so I decided to do a test piece.

This blade is made from 1/4" 1095 hand sanded to 1500 and etched to reveal the hamon. The balance is very good and it feels light and fast in the hand.

The handle is Bolivian rosewood and brass.

The sheath is hand carved and features several attachments points. I built both a belt loop and an IWB loop to go along with it.

Price $725 , shipping is included to continental United States via USPS. Preferred payment is via paypal.

Blade Steel: 1/4" 1095
Grind: Dagger
Blade: 4 1/2"
Handle Material: Bronze and Bolivian rosewood
Overall Length: 9 3/8"
Sheath: Kydex
Weight: 9.07 ounces

Comments are welcome thank you for looking,

Jeepers, Paul. Just thinking about the time invested in each remarkable aspect of this astonishing knife and sheath wears me out. And then all those intricate aspects work so well together... Really outstanding!
Thank you very much. I need to start writing down the hours just to see how long it is out of curiosity. I tend to work on these art knives at night over a few weeks so I don't know how many hours it is.

That is the finest boot knife I've ever seen (even though it's clearly not intended to be worn in a boot).
Thank you. Good call, this is my boot knife design. I did a couple of them years ago with the boot clip and wanted to update it with some of the things I have learned. After spending all the hours carving the leather I couldn't bring myself to drop a clip in front of it so I went with a belt loop and IWB.

Just realized I forgot to get pictures of the belt loop attachment I made. I will get some pictures outside tomorrow and update the post.
