SOLD
"Black Diamond" Dagger. 1075 Steel Clay Quenched with Nice Hamon Line Blade. Maple Burlwood and Black Micarta Handle with Mild Steel Diamond Shaped Guard and Pommel. OAL 12 1/4", Blade 6 1/2", Width 1 1/4".
Thanks Steve Randall

Great looking dagger.
Since Teacher snatched this one up you'll have to make another.
I would be willing to contribute something for handle material if you decide to do another dagger. Buckeye burl might look good on one of these.

Steve,

I received this Dagger yesterday. Thanks for the ultra smooth deal and quick shipping.

I am more than pleased with this piece!!!

Fit and finish is superb.
Grind lines are better than excellent.
The double hamon lines are fantastic.
Diamond guard and "skull crusher" pommel just fit this knife, IMO.
The handle does too.

I consider this knife ............. as close to 'perfect' as it cab be.

As far as I am concerned..... you hit a "Home Run" with this one and I am a 'happy camper' to get it.

For anyone interested, here is the link to where Steve first posted this knife in the 'Makers Gallery'.......

Some interesting discussion there also.

Thanks again Steve,
Cp

Gee "roland", thanks for pointing that out....
Nothing gets by you does it ???? ;)

This Dagger was bought from the 'Makers Gallery' before it ever made it to the sale forum.
Well,I found out I could not post iTrader feedback unless it was posted here.

I wanted to leave that feedback for this so I asked Steve to post it here so I could do that.

If you look 'real hard' ... "roland", there is another one done the same way.

Nothing sneaky going on, this is the only way I could leave iTrader feedback... so this is what was done.

IF, you have any more questions about it..... feel free to PM, email, or come see me. ;)

Sorry to have aroused your concern.

Best regards,
Cp

My apologies to you 'roland'.

Combined with my misreading your intent on your post and me being in a "bad mood" about something totally unrealted to BF......
I typed when I should not have..... :o :(

Again, my apologies.... I was wrong.

Sincerely & kind regards,
Cp

PS / It is a fine Dagger..... that does seem knid of "Magical", just looking at it. :D  ;)

Hey guys, Thanks. i posted above to make it clear that i admire a person who can make a fine custom knife and respect the amount of talent, effort and determination that is needed to create an attractive and superior cutting knife.
through the efforts of Knifemakers, my life gets enriched with many fine blades. those i don't buy, i really like looking at.
These 2 "For Sale by Maker" forums are the 'centerfold' of BF for me.
looking forward to seeing more of your knives.
