Hmmm... That's JUST what Big Brother would say to allay suspicion!

I concur that many knife fanciers are also licensed to carry a handgun. I am.

Cant help but concur with PJeff's observations....

If y'all think 'they' don't watch forums like this one, and others related to weapons, edged et al, you better think again....

I'm a blade fancier, and a ccw holder in my state, but what I carry, and how many rounds, and whether it's Black Talons or Speer Golddots, and where my folder is located, is nobody's bid'niz but my own. And maybe a badguy that gets a first hand close-up look.

I carry a Kel-Tec P11 just about everywhere. I put the little side clip on it and don't use a holster. The P-11 is a wierd little gun, and the trigger pull is about 15 lbs. Very long pul also.
Not a target pistol, but good enough to get me out of a jam if needed.

Unclephilthy......Sorry, Pjeff....... sorry to make you parinoid... now I'll be sure not to ask anything so sensitive as this again...... anybody I supose can be something they are not, that is ANYBODY! ....you , me, that can happen on any forum..... again sorry about making anyone nervious. I guess untill you actually look someone in the eye and shake his/her hand and have some discussion you can't know for sure. Your right, not everyone out there is a boyscout. mjmcdowell

I'm with logical on the NAA .380. Maybe on the borderline for power but, hell, I'm not going to be picking off a perp up on the ridgeline, they are going to be within 15 or 20 feet at most or ,more than likely, at arms reach. With a pocket holster its not to big for a front pocket. If I've got time to strap on I'll always grab the Colt Commander in the shoulder rig.

Colt Combat Elite chock full of 165 grain Hydra Shok with a couple of extra mags all neatly stowed in a Galco shoulder harness. My theory is that if you are in a situation that requires the use of a handgun (ie: your life is in danger) you had better have one capable of eliminating the threat with one shot.

CCW- In my dreams. Here in the big apple only bad guys and cops carry guns.
