Dalibor #1
This is the very first Dalibor, literally the first knife he made and sold....very cool piece of history for an incredible knife maker.
Full titanium scales
3V blade steel
Stonewashed handle and blade finish
OAL 8.5"
Blade Length 3.25"
No blade play
No lock stick
Centered blade
Rock solid early lockup
The detent hole position is off so it hits later than it should but it doesn't affect the knife.
Even with the very first knife he ever made, it's easy to see his obsession with quality and function. This is the knife that went on to become his Regulus model.
$old shipped

Is there a certificate or any documentation to show that this is his first knife?

No I think this is before he started doing stuff like that but he is super responsive on instagram so you can simply verify it with him.

Would you happen to have a video of the action? Also didnt understand what you meant by the detent being off. Thanks

OK so grab a framelock folder with the blade closed. If you open the blade slowly, first you'll feel the detent ball pop out of the detent hole and then just before the lock bar engages, the detent ball falls off the blade. So when the lock engages, you hear two sounds click clack and the blade is open and locked. On this knife, everything is normal and functions like any other framelock. The only thing that's slightly unique is the first click of the two clicks when the lock bar engages, clicks slightly earlier than usual. That's it. It doesn't affect anything because the detent we care about which is the detent that sucks the blade closed and keeps the blade from opening up in our pocket, is normal.

So when you're opening a frame lock folder with one hand slowly, the click clack you hear when the lock bar engages, there is more time between the two clicks. The first click happens slightly earlier instead of happening right at the end.

If you're still interested, I'll take a video but I might need to drive a mile or two away from my house to upload it because my internet connection is screwed up in my neighborhood right now and if I try to upload a video it freezes my computer every time for some reason. I'll try uploading one now. I'll illustrate the detent thing in the video.

I'll take it. Please post your Paypal email (the email in my sig is an old email that I can't access, and I'd rather not post my personal email publicly).
