Dallas area knifemakers?

Hey Danny

I am a couple hrs east of you, just North of Longview. There are several makers in the metroplex area.

I grew up and graduated from Plano sr. in 87.
 
I visit my folks in Ft. Worth at least every other Christmas. :) So I can't offer my shop to you, since it's up here in MI, but I'm interested in the answer, too.
 
i have a list of makers from all 50 states. its last years list and it has makers from other countries. anyone wanting the list can send me an email. the list is in pdf format.
 
If you draw a 100 mile circle around DFW, I think you will find a whole bunch of knifemakers.
 
Oh, here's another thought- I bet if you head over to House of Blades, they'll be able to tell you the names of some local guys. I remember seeing a pretty good handful of different makers represented who were at least from TX.
 
Search for the Texas Knifemakers Guild. Also try to go to the Spirit of Steel show later this year.
