Anyone going? If it is like the show from two years ago, it will be slip joint heaven. Queen will be there. At least one and probably several GEC dealers will have tables. Looking forward to it tomorrow or Saturday.

Mods, if this is improper please move it elsewhere. The show has been pretty dominated by traditional knives. I listed the dates wrong and modified them.

I am always buying. I already have a GEC with my name on it when I get there. :D

Ethan Becker often shows up. I haven't seen him post anything on his forum with regard to this show.

Friday: 11-5
Saturday: 9-4
No show on Sunday. Exit Walnut Ave off I-75 at the North GA Trade & Convention Center. Have no idea what the admission price is.... probably under $10. That isn't something I worry about as there aren't many shows in the region.

It was canceled last year, but I attended the year before. I picked up a Blackjack (old one), a GEC #42, an old Schrade or two.... I had fun. There were so many slip joints there that my mind was kind of a blur.

I'm guessing that the conv center was booked for Sunday, hence only Friday and Saturday.

I've been to the gunshow up there. Several years back it was great! The past couple years it has been much smaller.

I emailed the one GEC dealer that was there two years ago and he basically said "see ya there!" He's bringing some stuff for me.

This more than likely will be the only show I attend prior to Blade in June.

I am going on Friday (tomorrow). Have had this show marked on my calendar for a couple months. Was planning on working on Saturday, but you never know, I may show up Saturday too.

Two years ago I attended and wasn't expecting much. It's a small show but it is pretty much all knives. I was impressed and enjoyed myself a lot.

While I am actually off tomorrow, I'm heading down to Marietta for lunch with a good friend. So looks like I will be there on Saturday. Sadly the wife told me that I can go & look, but not buy. Might see if I got any trade material.

As for local food recommendations - Cherokee Brewing Company has good pizza and carries a wide range of beers. Willies Burger Shack & Fish Fry is outstanding. The girls at the clinic like Lalo's To Go Mexican food, but I've not been yet. They also recommend Love Empanadas.

If your're just looking for something close there is a Chilis, O'Charley's, and the usual fast food restaurants right at the exit.

Enjoyed the show. Spent way too much money. Attendance was moderate today. Knives were selling.

I went. It was a decent show. Probably 90% slipjoint pocketknives. Which was great! Really had a good variety of new, old, production, etc.

I didn't see an actual GEC dealer but several people had GEC pocketknives. It was my first time putting my hands on one. I wasn't impressed. I would argue that Case is not only better but also more attractive and affordable. GEC is just overpriced for no reason.

I was hoping to see some SAK alox but only saw maybe ten or so SAK's at all. I saw a fair amount of Kissing Crane. I thought they were considered a cheaper company though?

I did have one company catch my eye. Indian Head. Does anyone know anything about them?
