This is a very nice example of a Dalton with some tuning work done.
The action was stiff and gritty so I GENTLY lapped it with some JB bore scrub
( ultra fine non-embedding abrasive for cleaning rifle barrels) mixxed to a thin slurry with gun oil. Action is slick and smooth now.

I also cleaned up the factory edge grinds and made it SLIGHTLY more acute and took the edge to 9000 grit polish. Beyond razor sharp now. The tip is perfect like a needle. I was all set to carry this one but I got a Benchmade Auto Rukus I like better.

So this better than new perfect User Dalton is yours for 275 SOLD!!shipped and paypal fee included. (CONUS ONLY) NO TRADES

Sorry I don't know for sure. I would guess... felt like S30V, Was very abrasion resistant and took a good long while to sharpen. Could be a nice hard 154CM though.

I guess my price was too high....

Big drop to 240 shipped. If you saw this knife and checked out the edge you would not even blink at this price.
