Damaged Paramilitary 2 Blade help

Aaaaaaand.........I think i'm just going to leave the blade like this for a while! I may end up getting the diamond coated stones for the spydy, and then resharpen it, but here it is, and proof of how sharp it is. (it was done in one, veery light stroke!)

Just resharpen it. If your knife collection grows invest in a quality system. If not, send it to the factory and have it sharpened and prepare to wait.

I wish that some of my knives looked that good. I need to get them "on the machine."
:) But they are tools, and tools get used. Not a big deal AT ALL. Your SharpMaker will work okay, but will take a while.

Good experience, in my book.

Have you tried to just use a leather strop? I find that most of the time that will repair most chips I get on my working knives.

And to those who are saying to sharpen it out, i've already tried, but the only good sharpener i have is the spyderco sharp maker, and only with the basic stones, so right now i feel like i can only use it for resharpening, and unfortunately not fixing up a blade, but if someone knows a way to do it with that specific sharpener, I'm all ears!

You can get a diamond stone at any hardware store, or an Arkansas stone. Use them, then use the Sharpmaker with the coarse stones first. Use the coarse until you get the edge you want, then touch it up with the fine.
