this knife was handforged from this steel and the maker tested it like all his knives with success.
 
That's a helluva billet!!!!!!!!! Love those big choppers and that looks to be a fantastic knife.....the Damascus looks to be superb, too.

Thanks for the pictures of the Damascus-making process. :cool:
 
Goodness. Do they own a steel factory? Where did they get the kind of equipment to turn out such a large billet?
