Great looking knives, love that damascus. You both did good:thumbup:.

"Goose is always cutting something..."

Goose, I certainly hope that the beagle hair was not from you cutting on the beagle:eek:  . Preston

Both of those 110's are awesome!!
I love that Damascus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They look great with and without rivets!

Thanks Ron, Scott, BM10, Hkingdom, John, Darryl, Preston, and Jim...
Yeah, I have to say I like the 110 SamDam very much. Nothing about it I don't like...well maybe the engraving...but I am thinking I like that better than scribing something on the blade now that I look at it. And, I like the engraving a bit more as I look at it.
Then maybe I should have done FG.
The Damascus is too cool for school.
And, I like the pins for the old skool look.
The stag is awesome too.
Obviously, I am VERY happy and man, am I tempted to use it.
Does anyone use Damascus in real life???

Anyway...
Beagle was not cut. But doing time for paw impressions on mint bolsters and attempting to gnaw Sambar in the first degree. Felony in my hood.

Goose, I have an older 110 stag in damascus, if you use it, you'll swear by it.
Sam wishes your dogs a Merry Christmas....and sez turn that pup loose!

...HA HA HA HA HA...Great pic there gooser...:p...I wish I was more atuned to the attributes of Damascas steel but I am not. I was always afraid that it could delaminate or rust too easily or just be too soft to use regularly. There are some guys who pop into the forum now and then who swear by it though, saying that it's great as a user steel, tough, resilient and able to take and hold a great edge...That stainless Damascas through me for a loop...until this batch I had never though of Damascas steel as stainless...Let us know how it behaves if ya use it...

well maybe it doesnt count because it wasnt a buck (but it was a 110 clone with damascus) i used it and i liked it it held up good and took a pretty good edge considering i cant sharpen worth a @#@#
i have a 425 minibuck i use and its easy to get a decent edge on and holds pretty good , my edc is a kershaw ats-34 it holds great but a bugger to sharpen ,the damasus was in between (for me anyways)
thats why i want the edgepro , but now you guys almost have me talked into the lansky
