damascus 110's again- rumor or fact ?!

Damascus sure is pretty. I think I saw that that's stainless damascus, right? How does it compare to Buck's standard 420c, or BG-42, S30V, and VG-10?
 
I am also curious about the price for the dm. Please pm me if you're not comfortable posting it.

Who made this dm? Alabama?

Now that is putting things into perspective!! It also means that a damascus blade runs around $144, assuming Goose did not specify finger grooves or a leather sheath.

I wonder if the blades are from last year. If I could scratch up $144 I would want it to be a 09 blade. If someone does order one maybe they could ask and post the reply.
 
i am fairly sure they will be last years stamp
but i dont know as i dont work there
they make them all in one run i think...
that is why i prefer no year mark on custom shop or le knives
but that is jest me..
some feel the other way..
 
Wow, I asked Pete about 6 months ago and he said $100. Must have been the old price as they didn't have any at the time I asked. But $144 sounds about right as Devin Thomas SS Damascus is $17.5 per inch for the 1/8 bar stock at TexasKnife.

I guess that puts the stag damy up around $350...whooooaaahhh I won't be getting one of those anytime soon. Besides, the General has decided I have enought knives.:eek:

It seems the General is bucking for a promotion to Field Marshal….so it goes.
