Damascus 110V

I have an old Buck 110 damascus but unlike the illustration posted by Bobby B , on my 110 the V is upside down and looks like 110A , given that , it is also well worn as used daily for the past 15 years and sharpened many times to the point that the blade is loose an about 2/3rds its original size ! Question is can this Knife be sent in an the blade replaced ? Or should I keep watching the gun shows for a replacement ? Thanks

Welcome to the Buck Forum Wayson,,,,

This is going to be interesting to see all the comments.. I don't think I have heard of anyone sending in a Damascus for a blade swap. At least back to a damascus blade. Buck can surely tighten it back up but those damascus blades are a real premium.

Yours is a 1988 year model with the V pointing up. Its not an A

Do you have any idea what a replacement for that baby is gonna cost ya?? Whew.....

Now,,, you have peaked my interest because you are the first one I have seen post here that has actually used a damascus blade as an EDC (everyday carry) knive. We all are going to want to hear about it. And of course see pics of an actual 19 year old user.

Looking forward to this!!! :D

As a Master Plumber an a 1 man company I use this knife for everything from opening mail to reaming PVC pipe , putting a bevel on inside and out of it , lots of abuse and plenty of battle scars on bolsters . only been thru 4 scabbards so for LOL , I've found but not purchaced 110's with wood handles and thought sabout seeing if i could perform a blade transplant on this , After all these years carrying an sharpining it I don't think i could ever really be happy carrying anything but damascus steel

I recently started using a 110DM but the scales were falling apart (peeling) so I sent it to Muskrat for a facelift. It cuts like crazy.

I would be interested in seeing a pic of your knife Wayson. That would be cool.
