Hi gentlemen,

This is a collaboration knife we've made with Ariel.

On the 2005 Knife Show, a customer or Ariel's saw this american style Bowie of mine:

And wanted a similar knife, but in damascus, so Ariel forged to shape the steels for the blade and the damascus for the guard and gave it to me to make the rest.

Here's the knife ready to be delivered to the customer (I've finished it just a couple of days ago)

Specs:
7 1/2" blade in san mai damascus (52100 core and 1010 and 1070 layers) - Almost 5/16" thickness. 12 1/2" overall lenght.

Died Axis deer handle slabs with brass/SS pins (worked to follow the lines of the stag) and nickel silver lanyard hole.

Hand worked damascus guard (1010 and 1095) Small filework on the spine near the handle.

Handstitched leather sheath with securing piece in abalone (wich looks like crap on the pictures, but it's beautiful)
