Was following this thread on the other sub-forum, your handles kill me, SO nice.
Chillingly cool Damascus, WOW, love the ladder pattern.
Uber talent here.
That is an exceptional peice!!The video was mezmorizing,I felt my mouth salivating while you were moving the knife around to show the ladder pattern in the light.
Bill- I'm glad you like it! I had sent some snapshots on the bench and didn't hear back so I wasn't sure if you didn't get them or if you hated the knife. :foot:
I like to see what I'm commenting on, especially a page or two in....
What I love about most integrals is the combined simplicity of the transitions. This one, without needing or having the guard fingers, personifies this aspect.
Then Nick adds in just enough cleanliness and style/detail to make the seemingly-simple = overwhelmingly-complex.
Bravo!
That it is in Dr. Bill's surgical hands makes me smile twice.
I'm tickled that this has been well received by quite a few folks... good motivation to keep up with the integrals.
Coop, your post really made me smile, I love how you worded that.
Nicko- Mark Farley at Burlsource is the guy to talk to. You can find him pretty easily, he made post #25 in this thread. Mark is an absolutely first class supplier and he just keeps getting better and better stock all the time. I am building up quite the hoard of stabilized Koa that came from BurlSource!
edited to add- I just took a look at your thread- your Scagel in high tech steel is coming out great!
