I recently finished this Bowie for a friend in California. I had Jason at Culpepper's dye some of my stag Mahogany. I always try to leave as much of the bark as I can, but when I do need to take some off, this looks pretty good. The blade is 10 inches and all the fittings are my damascus. Thanks, Lin

Lin,

You knocked this one out of the ball park. Great piece and I'm loving that dye job on the stag.

what a beautiful knife!
the guard flows just right, and the pattern in the damascus makes it look like it's moving. It's swimming in a sea of pattern welded steel. The angle that the plunge is at accentuates it all. The overall profile of the knife is sleek but massive. A rare feat to capture the two in one package.

nothing short of awesome, and my favourite knife of yours to date- and there's been a lot of favourites already. This is in my top three favourite knives of 2011. I haven't given much thought to what the other two might be, but the point is this one's got me thinkin.

That most definitely rocks Lin. Gorgeous damascus and sweet stag. Someone in California is going to be smiling.

Congrats, Lin that is a stellar knife, everything about it is spot on - love the stag!

Thats a good looking knife Lin you got to love it when it all comes together like that

Super nice, Lin, love the dark stag against the damascus. The scalloped guard and the long clip are outstanding!

Lin, everything about this knife works!! First off you know HOW I feel the pattern of damascus you used ;)

The guard and really works and the dyed stag is a very nice contrast....to the darker tones of the damascus! you hit a homerun!

folks get ready....my prediction is the knives coming out of lin's stable in the next couple years are going to make make folks think he has been toying with us until recently!

Congrats Lin!!
