So, this knife can be summed up pretty easily by one simple phrase; "Well, that happened,". Quick background on this knife, it was a larger utility/paring knife that I had made and had posted on the kitchen knives section of the KnifeMaker's Market area. It was about to sell, but the man who claimed it went AWOL, and after a few days, I decided to post it back up. Fast forward to today, I was fortunate enough to have another knife sell here. I went into my drawer to prep the knife for shipping, when I saw it still in there wrapped up. I unwrapped it and noticed some surface rust on the spine. I decided to clean it up really quick on the grinder, and a quick slip of the hand pretty much changed my plans entirely. So, I said "well, it hasn't solid yet anyhow," and pretty much free handed it until I though it would pass as some sort of knife shaped object. After a quick polish and resharpening, this is the end result.

So, here's what we've got for your consideration; damascus steel and mesquite odd ball hunter. Blade is 5.5" long of damascus steel at 0.085" thick at the spine. Handle is composed of a polished nickel silver bolster on top of some locally harvested mesquite wood with matching nickel silver pins. The wood has been oiled and waxed with hard carnuba wax to provide waterproof barrier. The usual mirror polish around the entire profile of the knife to provide a soft feel in the hand. A heavy leather sheath is being made actively and will be ready to ship before the end of the day.
Asking $SOLD USD + $8 USD shipping anywhere in the USA. I'll ship international as well, but rates vary. My PayPal email is:
