I love this knife. But I'd ruin it carrying it around in my pocket all day :)

Are there any 'plainer' versions of this style around?

Jiminy,
This knife has been sold but I could make you a plainer version. It might look wicked in D-2 with carbon fiber scales and titanium bolsters.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it. Unfortunately it's not in the cards right now :(

However, it appears that there would be interest by others in such a knife if you produced it. I've always thought that if someone could make a decent, basic, custom folder for around $300 or so there would be a market for it. With minimal (if any) decorative filework, a custom linerlock with good blade steel and micarta slabs would sell as fast as they could be made, IMHO.
