Damascus and Snakewood

Thanks for posting the picture. I finally figured how to post it again, now I have to remember how to resize it. The blade is 5" and the oal is 9 1/8". The damascus is 512 layer Edwards random pattern, 416 stainless bolsters and snakewood handle.
 
Nice work for someone that came from Fairhaven and attend St. Joseph's. Sister Agnes would be proud of you.:D :D :D :p
 
I liked the random pattern damascus that Gus Edwards was making here in my home town. His father, Fain Edwards, started the business. I know Gus was suppling damascus to Bear Cutlery, also in the town I live in. I hated to hear that he went out of business, he had quite a setup. I heard he moved to Birmingham, AL, but I don't know for sure. I think it's been a couple of years since he closed up shop.
 
Yay, I've been wanting to see this. I like it, the damascus and the snakewood work well together. Keep up the good work!
 
very nice, the snakewood realy compliments the damscus, looks like it would be very comfortable in the hand too.
