I finally finished my brother's (incredibly late) birthday present. Special thanks to Delbert Ealy for the steel, and heat treat. I've wanted a damascus blade for a while, and making one for someone seemed even better than owning one myself. My brother's favorite wood is snakewood so that was obviously included, too. The etch is quite deep making for an interesting look and texture.

Delbert Ealy tiger-pattern damascus
Sankewood with SS (CPM154 leftover) bolsters
Brass pins
Blade length 3.25"
OAL 7.5"

Can anyone suggest a good sheathmaker? I'm looking for something simple, but nice.

Paul Long or Sandy Morrison are masters. You could never go wrong getting either one to do it for you.

That would be Sandy Morrissey and yes both are masters.you also have Dwayne Puckett(Leatherman) and Mt.Mike Bartol and I can do one too if you want.Lots of good ones out there.By the way nice knife.Dave:)
