Does anyone have any pics of Bagwell blades . If so i would love to see them.

I think Bill did a fine job with your Hell's Belle. I like it very much. I purchased a Hell's Belle from Bill some years back and it was my first custom knife ordered direct from a custom maker. I'm still quite fond of it... mine has the regular carbon blade and the wood coffin handle.

Always did like cable damascus. Wonder why no one uses it much any more. It use to be very popular. Good to see a well done up blade of it again! Mike

I just wet my pants.

Mr. Bagwell must be like those mythical Japanese sword makers; his hand is guided by the forces of nature.

Love the "Tejas." Conjurs up a legacy going back to Bowie's own time.

Congratulations on your knife. It's timeless. Pass it on after you've gone to someone worthy; someone who will pass it on to another worthy person.

Keith i sent you an email if you did not get it please e-mail me at JParanee@aol.com. or call 610 657 9515

TIZWIN thanks for the kind words I feel the same about his work and especialy this blade. It feels incredible in the hand and by far is my favorite bowie that i own. The only one that comes close is another Bagwell that i have. Bill really knows how to make a fighting bowie. I have 4 kids I already told my little one 2 1/2 that this knife is special and to remember it over all the others and to always take care of it as daddy's knife. Only some of my good Japanese swords get this ranking. But who am i kidding with three daughters there will probaly be quite a yard sale lotsa gun's, Knives and swords and stuffed dead animals to go. If they keep my dog and some of my stuff (hopefully this knife) I will be glad.

Thanks to everyone for looking and all your complaments. It means alot coming from all of you

 What a beautiful knife.

Great looking Bowie, JP. I can tell you that Bill was particularly pleased with this one. Visited with him the other day while he was attending a Black Powder shoot in my area, and he told me all about it - the reason I came looking here. There is nothing quite like a Bagwell made for YOU, and it's ALL about the way it feels when put in motion. Here's one of mine.

I would very interested to know how thick the blade is at the plunge cut,
and how much it distal tapers to the point. Also a general idea on total weight if it isn't too much trouble. Thanks.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to post some pics of a new knife Bill Bagwell just sent me. According to Bill this is the only All Damascus (blade and fittings) stag handled Hell's Belle he has ever done. The blade is ten inches of Bill's satan's lace damascus. The guard and pommel are also his damascus. His stamp is gold filled. In person the tip of the blade looks like it is on fire. The piece of stag is kind of squareish at the guard so you can always feel where your edge is. The Knife has some weight but when it is put in motion it is very quick and fast in the turns. The knife was made for me and it feels that way. Bill makes his knives right or left hand and this knife aligns and indexes extremely well. balance is right on and I couldn't ask for a more fearsome fighter. I am very pleased with this blade and the knife in person is beautiful and scarey at the same time. If the devil carried a bowie this might be it. I am rather new to the forums and would love to hear what you all think. Thanks for looking .. Joe

A magnificent knife.

Noticed this when someone else linked it. When I realized I'd stared at the pics for about 15 minutes, I decided this was one Thread that should be back at the top.

The blade is an exquisite example of a Texas bowie with very interesting Damascus. Love that stag handle.
