Damascus and stag scalper

I made this piece as my contribution to this year's Christmas KITH in the maker's section.
10"OAL, forged blade of random damascus, sambar stag handle, wrought iron buttcap with peened tang.
The rawhide sheath has a couple of different features.One is a rawhide braid around the bottom of the flap, and the other is a few "field repair" stiches near the tip.

Very Cool John that sheath is over the top with that old look you do to your work. I will but this in a file to look at next time I try do do raw hide.
