This blade has been laying around for a few years. When I etched it, the acid was too aggressive, so there's a little pitting as a result. That's why I never put a handle on it. But I couldn't bring myself to toss it, since the pattern is pretty and the welds are sound. So yesterday I decided to put a cheap handle on it and sell it at a reduced price.

Steel: Not sure. It's either 1084/15n20 or 1084/8670
Around 300 layers, ladder pattern

Hardness: 58-59

Blade length: 9-1/4"

Total length: 14-3/4"

Blade thickness: 1/4"

Handle material: Black canvas micarta

Guard: 416 ss

I was planning on sandblasting the handle, but if you prefer a sanded finish like I usually do, that's fine.

Price: $350 + $11 shipping

I can take paypal, check, or MO. Please send correspondence and paypal to phillip@pattonblades.com

I'll check and see if I have a sheath that fits it. If I don't I can make a simple one for a little extra.

Thanks for looking!

Another great knife Phillip. I really like your designs!
I saw the title and I thought "Damascus Beater"??? Isn't that an oxymoron? :D

That sure is one ugly arse beater. I think it ruins your reputation to sell such a garbage knife. Haha. JK of course'

That thing is amazing. Very nice work

This is one heck of a great knife!

It's larger than it looks, has great balance, and is scary sharp!

Mr Patton you do very good work! I hope you'll be at the Blade Show? I'll come say hello.
