Damascus billets 4 - Bemetal

Hello, I offer hand-made Damascus billets.

They are made from steel K720 + K605 Boehler Uddeholm + L6 + special Germany hard carbon steel.

In case you place the order, I will add some information how to do a heat treatment of billets.

Maximum hardness of a special hard carbon steel is 64-65HRc.

Temperatur: 810°C (15 minutes), oil

Tempering 90 minutes: 100°C= 64-65 Rockwell, 150°C= 63 Rockwell, 200°C= 62-61 Rockwell, 250°C = 59-60 Rockwell
