Somethings are worth waiting for. I think this one was about 3 years in the making.
The blade is a three bar composite construction, with Damascus fittings and an African Blackwood handle.
I'll post some numbers in the morning. It is big.

Sweet. I really like straight plunge lines, but the mirror image between the plunge line and choil really works here.

utterly beautiful, everything: damascus, choil/ricasso/guard. the blade seems to be recurved, but i a am pretty sure, it is just an illusion. kevin's ability to shape a blade/knife is hard to surpass!

best regards,
hans

Most excellent Peter, and well worth the wait!:thumbup::thumbup:

Wow, now that is an awesome piece. A three year wait for something like this would not trouble me in the least. In fact, to prove the point, I'll happily take it off your hands three years from now (or three months, weeks, or minutes, for that matter). ;) Now let's have those specs.

Damascus and African Blackwood by one of the best. Very, very nice. I like the design.

Well worth the wait!

Luv it! Hopefully, he hasn't shipped it to you yet, and I'll get a chance to drool on it in person at the Janesville, WI knife show in 2 weeks. :D

I love that Bowie, great steel, great lines... not "overdone", just perfect in my view.
