The blade of this one-off Bowie is some of Ed Caffrey's "fossil mosaic". Blade is 8" & 15" OAL. Handle is amber stag.

while I see a very nice knife, I also see that the ricasso looks a little wide. I think it might look a bit flowier if the edge side of the ricasso, (bottom?) flowed into the handle, instead of the abrupt step. It would look sleeker, to my eye.
