Your screen name is Welder, so I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you're a welder by profession.

I bet that if you go to work and ask around if anybody knows a crane operator, somebody will. It kinda needs to be a guy who owns and runs his own rig, though.
The reason is, I understand they have to replace their cables fairly often... when they put the new cable on, the old cable usually just goes and sits in the barn.
My local guy apparently has hundreds and hundreds of yards of the stuff laying around; not worth the trouble for him to take it to the scrapyard.
