this'en is a clip point hunter ,it's 8 5/8'' o.a., blade is 4 1/8'' from tip to choil

steel is 1090 & 1080-2%nickle in a random twist pattern.

handle is dyed camel bone from pop's supply, (chocolate),which i sculpted. pins are hand peened bronze and liners are nickle silver.

blade was edge hardened and mirror polished before etching in ferric, then cold cold blued.

spine has recessed fileworked from the top of handle and is a continuious pattern wrapping arround the butt of knife, in a dragons tail pattern, and is mirror polished as well as the liners.

the butt of knife is sculpted almost giving it a webbed look, but all corners were knocked off so there are no sharp edges.

price is SOLD including hand stitched sheath (made by me as well)

thanks

Very nice, love the way you put the spacers between the handle and the steel. It makes the file pattern stand out.

thanks, matt

when i polish them liners and recess that file work, it gives it a very reflective look and makes things glimmer in there.

Andrew,

When I got home last night there was a package waiting for me. A few moments of unwrapping reveled this knife. Truly, the pictures do not do it justice; the detail work is only surpassed by the creative design. Not only does it look good; but, it feels even better in the hand. So far the only problem is my wife's "suggestion" that it become a Christmas present to her. She is a very discriminating collector.
