How about one that will really put you guys in shock:)
S7, 10" blade, convex ground on the rotary platen, 1018 fittings, Koa Burl handle. I been playing with this one for awhile. I etched it on Sunday and polished it. Trying to make it look old.
Turning out pretty nice.

Edited to add, blade is 2" edge to spine and only .185 thick. Feels like a feather:)

i really like this one KIT! i have just seen your folders and they great. but FIXED blades really do it for me! by the way i think the fiber and damascus came out great! i use old westinghouse ivory micarta sometimes with damascus but its gets tuff using the man mades and having it look right to me.

They look great Kit, I love the folder, but the fighter realy does it for me.

Outstanding

Wowsers Kit, those knives are awesome!!!!!!!
Craftsmanship wreaks of perfection, really amazing work!
The pix are amazing too! The resolution is something else.

  Simply incredible work Kit!!!! One of *the* most gorgeous Carson's I have ever seen.

Wow!!!

That is some beautiful damascus! Is that yours? If so, what do you call it? Everything goes together perfectly on that one, somebody is gonna feel very lucky!

The big bowie is awesome too, that is some kind of grind. Maybe someday I'll grow up and try to grind like that...or not. :D That'd be asking a lot!

Thanks for sharing Kit, we don't get to see enough of your work.

Dave

I really like that folder Kit but that fixed blade is just too cool. Mike O teach you how to make that?;) :D

Thanks, guys.

Sorry, Dan, I meant grey t*rd :)

I ordered the KMG grinder from Rob and had him include the rotary platen. I had tinkered with it some on smaller blades and needed a change of pace.

That thing is awesome. I went from 50 grit to 600 grit and so smooth. Just a nice convex bevel and no grind marks like you can get on a hard platen.

Kit I got out the plunger and worked for over an hour and could not find anything that looked remotely like that grey t*rd.
