This is from a billet that I forged with 15N20 and 1084 high carbon steel
Heat treated in a digitally controlled furnace to a hardness of 58-60 and creating a fine grain structure throughout the blade.
Flat to a slight convex grind
Distal taper from the index finger to the tip
Professionally stabilized spalted maple handle which will endure dishwater but never in the dish washer ( or any knife for that matter)
Brass and black carbon fiber fixtures
Overall length: 13 1/4 inches
Blade length: 8 1/2 inches
Blade depth at the index finger: 1 3/4 inches
Blade width at the index finger is about 1/8 inch with at taper to the edge and tip
