Damascus Delica?

That looks amazing. :thumbup: I hope it sells well enough to continue the tradition next year.

Agreed. Hope it starts a new trend for Spyderco. Not that there is anything wrong with the existing trend/line, but it's going to be nice to have something to show folks who say all Spyderos look alike. :D

That is a great knife, however the price through that seller would probably be even more out of reach.

KnifeCenter's selling them for $250.That's a good price since I just seen a bunch of them on the bay for $350.

I caved & got one.:o

Mine just came UPS!!!!!!:eek::D:D:D

This thing is gorgeous beyond words.:thumbup:

The spine is also nicely file-worked.

I wish I took better pics.I hate to throw one of my crappy pics of it on here.

It didn't come in a box.Instead it came in a nice padded zip-case with a big gold spyderco logo on it.

Mine arrived today and I'm very impressed and pleased. Even more so since I managed to get it at a very good price. :D (tad over $180, if anyone cares).

The blue handles are a very dark blue...almost black...which I like.
The file work, while not fancy, is well done and adds that extra something.
No clip, which I don't mind at all...not sure a clip would loook "right" on this one...even it was damascus too. ;)

The random pattern of the damasucs blade slightly bothers me. The pattern on one side of the blade is more shallow than the other. I'm a bit compulsive, and asymmetry tends to annoy/distract me, but as a poster on another forum pointed out this is probably more natural and more "authentic" in appearance. I've decided to go with that thinking. :D

Alann,

The slightly uneven pattern seems fairly common. Mine is like that and a few of the posted pics from other members also shows similar differences. It's gotta be really hard to get perfect grinds on both sides by hand. I'm sure there's a few even ones out there. :)
