Damascus EDC

well just got this one done it's my first real step on the damascus road. dam i need a press buy hand is hard on the arms

it's 1084 & 15n20 about 200 layers and african black wood
3"blade 7.5" overall

Beautiful knife, loved everything about this blade... How many hours you spent on this damascus? I wonder cause I plan to make a one by hand but afraid to start...

shawn it took 9 hours i started with 5 layers and a 4lbs and 8lbs hammers

Looks good. I myself would probably start at 40 layers and a 12 pound hammer, then an 8, then 4. Then I'd grab a beer and go onto ebay and see what a piece of dascus would cost me
