Damascus fighter for San Antonio

Flawless. Everything is exactly where it's supposed to be on that knife. Down to the last little micro-scratch on the satin-finished guard.
Uh-ohhhhh. Now you did it.

Nick's hard at work finding and repairing this 'flaw'. :D ;)

No na no na no..... Nick isn't sanding out any scratches, he's busy getting these to Mr. Paul Long for leather! :D

Thanks again everyone. Like Dave said, the level of support is simply amazing. :)

They are few and far between but when you finish one it comes out spectacular. Your "keep em waiting" stragegy is working. Nice work Nick.

Nick's only problem(other than not answering his cell phone) ;) is that he's such a nitpicky bastid and that doesn't allow him to finish too many knives. But, man "O" man, when he DOES finish one, WOWZA!

Nick, ya outdid yourself with this fighter, Brutha. :)

:eek:Incredible knife Nick. Great job. The guard fitting looks Perfect!! Awesome detail in that piece of Iron Wood:thumbup:

I was drawn for this beauty along with an outstanding Paul Long tooled leather and Beaver tail inlay sheath on Saturday.

Nick's knives are examples of pure perfection in knifemaking and though rare in general, I'm enthused in getting this super rare damascus Wheeler knife.

Though a quick 24 hour trip for me, I throughly enjoyed the Expo. It's always a showcase for ultra-fine forged knives.

Yea, I really finished something ;) :)

careful with that, Kevin. I almost cut my eye looking at it.

Congrats my brother

this damascus piece had you written all over it.

I wonder who the third lucky fellow was:)

Nice score, Kevin. Any pics of the Expo forthcoming?

Thanks guys!
Joe, I was only there for 24 hours and I started taking photos at the first table inside the door and fully intended to shoot A LOT of knives, however after about a row and a half I started going in different directions and talking to lots of folks and fully lost concentration on my mission :o. I did take some however and will post them up on this thread after getting them loaded on my photo-site.
