The Knife overall length is aprox. 10" made from 1095 and Nickle with a 60 layer twist pattern. Blade has been etched, blued and heat treated to a 58-59 RC. There is a 5" cutting hollow ground edge, with an unsharpened 4" false edge.
I didnt make this damascus a fellow maker here in the clarion area did.

Handle material is a beautiful piece of Stabilized Redwood with black liners.
Black Leather stamped sheath included

Jim,just got the knife today,great work,outstanding pattern on the damascus
and a choice handle,thank you.i looked allover to find a maker's mark,didnt
see one??

Glad to hear you like the knife!!
I had a mark on the side but im not really sure how to mark damascus and when i etched the blade it got washed out....you can kinda see it on the flat....but its not really visable....something i need to figure out..
 
love your knife mate . might buy my first custom in two weeks . when i do i want a nice stainless bowie with stag handles
