Damascus Fighter

Here's a fighter in o1/l6, 9" blade, 416ss guard, claro walnut, 14" OAL.

The billet and the blade were forged on dies I made specifically for laddering. While not a traditional ladder pattern the blade has lots of "ladder-like" shimmer. I really enjoy moving the blade in the light; the handle and blade have a great deal of depth.

I've been doing a considerable amount of work in damascus lately (mostly trying different techniques/patterns) I figured I should finish at least one blade...I'm really happy with this piece.

The price is $650 including shipping. No sheath with this, sorry.

Great looking piece. I see that it sold. what was the thickness of the spine?

This knife is sold.

The spine thickness is .275" with a strong taper and fine edge. The balance is close to the guard.
