Damascus for EDC?

Is damascus steel appropriate for EDC? By that I mean endurance of the edge, the blade itself, and necessary maintenence. Or is it best suited for decorative customs and occasional carry?

I'm not quite shure since I don't have any damascus blades yet,but I think as long as it is stainless damascus,it's great for EDC!!!
(A lot of people carry damascus EDC's)

Depends on the quality of the damascus.

It should be like any knife, though.

Does it meet your needs and desires? Go for it.

Relitively unique, too. Alot of people treat damascus like some kinda fragile trinket. Why I'll never understand.
