Friction Folder

I don't know why I don't do more of these, they are a lot of fun to make.

This is a fairly large knife.

Blade: 3 1/2" from tip of blade to front of handle, 136 layer ladder damascus, 1095 & 15n20 made in my shop, back of blade is fileworked with rope pattern and blade has a twisted and curled tail
Backbar: Blued steel with rope filework on the outside and v's and circles inside the knife, twisted tail
Handle: Dyed bone with fluting and brass pins
OAL Open: 9"
OAL Closed including twist work: 7 1/8"

Price: $475.00 includes shipping and insurance by USPS Priority Mail to US

That's really nice.I'd like to see a tang shot showing the file work,if you could.

Thanks for the nice comments.

I added some shots of the filework. I don't have a pic of the filework on the inside of the backbar.

That is the best looking friction folder Ive seen, great use of materials. And it flows perfectly.
