here's a hawk i finished recently. Its made from my own forged damascus. I took a bunch of cut offs and welded up the billet and then forged into a wrap around style hawk. The steels used were 1095,1084,W2 and 15n20.
The haft is some wormy/curly maple, and i added a couple of leather wrap and iron tacks.
The total length is 18'', and from the edge to the back of the eye is 5 1/2'', and the cutting edge is 2 3/8''
asking $300 shipped, if interested in a sheath, i can have a primitive rawhide style belt sheath made at additional costs.
