Ok, so I've been grinding. Who knew it is so much fun burning yourself, removing flesh and wrecking steel? But anyway. I do not have a heat treating oven yet and I want to do a good job on my blades so I know I need to send my A2 and D2 to Paul Bos. My problem is I love working with damascus. (mostly 1095 and 15N20 but a few others too). Does anyone know of a good reputable company that does heat treating for damascus (carbon type) steel? Thanks in advance.

Peters' Heat Treat in Pennsylvania. Brad Stallsmith is the POC. I send mine there all the time, just mark the blades with the steel mix for 'em :D

If you live in CT.???? Just take a ride to my shop and we can do them up. It would have to be a day when it is over 35 degrees. I have a open air smitty.:D
