I built this knife from a billet that I forged with about 60 layers of 15N20 and 1084 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my Evenheat furnace to Rc 58-60 with three normalizing and two tempering cycles creating a fine grain structure
Flat grind
Distal tapered to the tip and butt
Stabilized walnut handle with Micarta spalcers
Overall length: 8 3/4 inches
Blade: 4 1/2 inches
Deep leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry

Lots to see here in this one. The steel has a fluid look to me, flowing from the handle forward.😵‍💫 Boy howdy you make cool knives!

I agree. This is a very nice looking knife. If I wasn’t already committed to a couple other customs right now, I woulda jumped on this one.

Excellent job
