Damascus Hunter w/checkered blackwood

Great looking piece and stands out from the general line of the hunter. To have a knife with matching sheath like that is something to treasure in any collection.
 
You're the man Ben! This piece has a great synergy of form, function, and aesthetics. Really a great accomplishment, and a fine father/son effort.
 
A primo hunter, Ben. Very functional blade, nice tight damascus, and outstanding handle. The handle shape, checkering pattern and execution are particularly notable. Exceptional work for only your third checkering job. As usual, the sheath complements the knife very well. Good teamwork! I hope you continue to do more checkering in the future. Very practical and adds a real touch of class, especially on a sole authorship knife.
