I seldom work with damascus because grinding such an expensive piece of steel gives me the willies. However, I met Brad Vice of Alabama Damascus Steel at the Parker show and he convinced me to give his steel a try. I hope he approves.

The spine is approximately 3/16 inch thick
Damascus is a mix of 5160 and 15N20 according to Brad's description
Hollow ground
Sambar stag handle
Overall length: 9 3/16 inches
Blade: 4 1/2 inches
Hand sewn leather scabbard

$250 SOLD THANK YOU TIMPANY! delivered to the US or Canada. My Paypal account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com I will also take checks that clear or USPS money orders.

Looks very nice!!

Any way you could post a little better pic to get a better idea of the damascus pattern?

Thanks

OK, here is a larger photo that I Lightened up as much as possible. I never knew that taking pictures of damascus would be so difficult; the blade is not a dark as the photo appears. I must have tried 50 shots to get these three.

This one showed up today and I couldn't be more pleased---all the normal GL Drew ergonomics and easy usability, but dressed in its Sunday best. :D

Thanks Gerry:thumbup:
