Damascus Insingo Sebenza: It might be coming!

I would absolutely LOVE to see Insingos with the same options across the board as the 21s. This would include wood/mammoth inlays, damascus blades, unique graphics, etc. If it were possible, I probably would have already bought a small 21 with wood or mammoth inlay and swapped blades with my small Insingo. I love the blade shape that much. I also wish we had the option to still get "Regular" Sebenza blades as the shape IMO, is much more visually appealing than the thinner, pointy 21s. I'll be interested to see where CR goes with the Sebenza line in the future.
 
Well if it's all speculation, I might as well add my wish to the wish list:

Raindrop Damascus Insingo with 'Native American' CCG. Why not? That.....and a winning lotto ticket I guess.
 
It's not speculation in my opinion. I called KnifeArt, they gave me a straight forward answer. "There will be DT Insingos within a year". I call it tentative because things don't always pan out, and I cant have angry Insingoless hooligans cursing my name off in the distance LOL!
 
I guess I meant 'speculation on what versions will be offered'. Thanks for digging into it Harris.

No thanks necessary Cody, I like your choice of dream Insingo! I see what you mean now. I am interested in knowing the difference in producing pattern welded clip point blades vs Insingo blades. I've read here that the blade profile on the Insingo is too thin.
 
I'd be all over a large damascus micarta insingo with no cf.
I know the cf is knifeart`s thing, but I'd much prefer no cf on an CRK.

Im glad you asked them directly! I am SO in for a plain jane, raindrop with blue stud...bring it on CRK and KNIFEART!!
 
I hope this does not end up like the "well known" CRK dealer who had a large mammoth ivory sebenza for like $525 because it was a new offering for them and they were "trying" to attract more business. They took pre-orders and when they found out how much a mammoth ivory sebenza actually was, they cancelled the pre-orders and said they were discontinued, even though that was not the case at the time.

Knifeart is a great company though and is well known for their exclusives. Lets hope they become a reality....!!!

You bet that I'll be one pissed dude!

I hate the CF scale Sebs! Makes me wanna stick an insingo in my eye!:D

Harsh! To each their own though, can't fault that. Love my CF DT Sebenza. Looks better when the dark blade matches the black CF scale imo.

I love CF, I have lots of it. But for some reason, the CF Sebenza just hurts my eyes. I don't mind the inlaid CF version. It's just something about that scale...
 
Exciting news, always wanted a damascus Insingo . Hopefully it will work out. Hoping for inlaid or plain ti

I think if I could pick the way I'd set one up, I'd get a large Basket Weave plain Jane Insingo with blue hardware. Or even gold hardware.
 
Wish crk would at least make a prototype. Hard to imagine how the damascus would look over the swedge of the Insingo. :)~~

That sounds like quite a debacle. I have no idea what company did that (and certainly would not ask you to say), but sometimes businesses come up with some bad ideas while trying to do a good thing...we all make stupid mistakes occcasionally. (shrug) However, seeing how a person/company deals with their mistakes is something we are wise to focus on...it is easy to look good when things are going well, it is when there are problems that our true character shows;)

Meh, I hear front scales are reasonable, and I'd speculate that a CRK factory CF scale would sell quickly in the exchange;)
