I recently got this beautiful damascus integral knife from my friend Ricardo Vilar (wich is the first Brazilian Journeyman Smith with the ABS, chairman of the Sociedade Brasileira de Cuteleiros and has recently been invited to teach the making of integrals at the Moran hammer in).
It has a 6 1/4" damascus blade and bois serpent wood handle from French Guiana. Very simple in construction, this one is a statement in elegance. Comes with a leather sheath. The piece is brand new and I am asking US$ 650,00 for it, plus US$ 20,00 for shipping, and that is not far from what dealers are asking for similarly sized carbon steel knives from this maker.

I might pay that much for a Dali painting(if I had that much money),am I missing something?Seriously, somebody clue me in!

Europeans and latin Americans use "," the way Americans use "." in numbers. Therfore, $650,00 really should read $650.00.

Sorry, friends. I´ll never remember that you use "." instead of "," in the US. That has caused some funny comments on the forums already...
And the knife is sold, by the way!

I'M sorry, forgive my ignorance and congratulations to the new owner! :foot:
